Our location
We are located just outside of Luz, near Burgau, making it an ideal place for visiting both the west- as the south coast. From Faro airport it is approximately an hour drive to the villa. When you book we'll send you the exact location.

What’s the average age of other guests?
On average the age is 30+, but our surf camp spans all ages, from young professionals to retirees rediscovering their passion. The common thread? A thirst for progression and great vibes. So, whether you’re 18 or 88, we got you!
What’s the weather like?
Endless sunshine, gentle ocean breezes, and picture-perfect surf conditions. The weather here is about as good as it gets.
What should I pack?
Just your sense of adventure and an open mind. Oh, and don’t forget the sunscreen, flipflops and bathing suit! We’ll provide the rest.
Is this camp good for solo travellers?
Absolutely. Our inclusive, friendly atmosphere makes solo travellers feel right at home. You’ll leave not just with new skills, but new friends too.
What languages does your team speak?
Our multilingual team is fluent in English and Portuguese, ensuring clear communication throughout your stay.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Yes, we can arrange airport transfers at an additional fee to make your arrival a breeze. Just send us your flight details at least 5 days in advance, and we’ll make all the arrangements for you.
Can I bring my own surfboard?
Of course! We welcome you to bring your beloved board. But if you’d rather travel light, we have high-quality rental boards available.
Do I need to hire a car?
A rental car is not necessary, as our villa is conveniently located near the coast and town. However, if you want to explore the area on your day off, a rental car can be handy for getting around.
Where is the villa located?
Our idyllic surf villa is nestled right along the coast, just a stone’s throw from the best waves. You’ll feel like you’re living in a postcard.
How do I get to the villa?
We can arrange airport transfers at an additional fee to make sure you arrive stress-free and ready to ride. Just let us know your flight details.
How close are shops and restaurants?
The local shops and restaurants are a mere 10-minute stroll away. You can grab any last-minute essentials or enjoy an evening exploring the town.
How near is the ocean?
The ocean is practically in our backyard, just a stroll along the road.
I’m a total beginner – is this camp for me?
Absolutely! Our expert coaches live to transform total newbies into confident wave riders. We’ll have you popping up in no time.
I’m an advanced surfer – will I be challenged?
Don’t worry, we cater to all levels, because of our small groupsizes. Our coaches will push your skills to the next level, whether you’re carving turns or hunting for that perfect barrel. And, with video coaching each day you’ll progress in notime.
How long are the surf lessons?
Each surf session is about 2 hours long, allowing ample time to learn, practice, and enjoy the waves.
How do we get to the beach?
We got transfers to the beach with our own van, bringing the boards along with us. Depending on the conditions we’ll travel to the best beaches.
Can I surf on my own on the free day?
Of course! Our coaches will give you all the tips to make the most of your free surf sessions. Just don’t forget to rest those hard-working muscles.
Can I bring my own wetsuit?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own wetsuit. In autumn and spring, we recommend a 4:3, and in summer a 3:2. But no worries if you don’t have one – we include high-quality wetsuits in your package.
Of course! We welcome you to bring your beloved stick. But if you’d rather travel light, we have high-quality rental boards available all included.
What kind of meals can I expect?
Prepare for your tastebuds to do a happy dance. Our private chef whips up meals that are not only healthy, but downright crave-worthy mostly vegetarian based.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?
Absolutely. Just let us know about any dietary needs or preferences in advance, and our chef will make sure you’re fueled without compromise.
What meals are included in my stay?
We’ve got you covered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – minus one evening where you’re free to explore the local cuisine.
Can I use the kitchen to cook my own meals?
While our chef’s creations are tough to top, the fridge is open for your drinks, and if you want you can always use the kitchen as long as Katie is not cooking.
When can I arrive and depart?
Check-in is after 11am. Checkout is after 12pm. Surfing, siestas, and sunset sessions wait for no one.
Do I need to bring my own linens and towels?
Nope! We’ve got you covered with all the plush towels and linens you’ll need. Just bring your sense of adventure.
Can I extend my stay?
Unfortunately, we only offer week-long packages to keep our group together and foster strong connections. We want your whole crew to progress side-by-side!
